The season is getting a little older and as such I’m going to get a bit bolder with my selections and try and get some choices with decent odds.  I’m on a minor roll at the moment, well I’ve picked more winners than losers anyway.  Without further ado.

This week we’re treated to a decent program of Carling Cup and Champions League fixtures.  Cup competitions can be tricky in the early stages, you never know what team the Premier League sides are going to put out for one thing and there are always upsets.  That aside I think I’ve picked out a few decent matches and I’m on a decent streak at the moment so I’m just hoping I can keep that up.

My last round of predictions went fairly well, with the exception of the Aston Villa Vs Wigan tie in which I went for Villa.  I doubt many would have seen that coming and hopefully I’ll get a complete set this time around.

The season kicked off ok for me, only Huddersfield failed me but they did manage a 2-2 draw and Im pretty confident they’ll have a good campaign and be in and around the play-offs.  I’ve turned my attention to tonight’s Carling Cup fixtures now, there are some decent fixtures out there so without further ado I’ll just get started.

It has been one long, tournament free (unless you count the under 21s and Confederations Cup) summer but the season is finally back.  The first games are always a bit tricky to predict but I think I’ve picked out a few decent selections.  I had a bit of a stormer last season so I’m just hoping I can match (or better) that success.   Here we go then….
