Those of you who regularly follow my betting tips on 1×2monster will know I generally drop into the lower leagues in search of better odds. This weekend however I’ve managed to find three games from the Premier League so without further ado I’ll just dive right in.

Unfortunately 1×2monster suffered some technical problems over the weekend so I was unable to bring you my usual betting preview. Thankfully we’re good to go again now and the Champions League takes precedent for the following midweek picks.

Last week’s round of tips went pretty well for me. The only team who let me down were Wigan, who I think I’ll avoid for the time being. They’ve picked up results where few would expect them to get anything out of the game (Villa and Chelsea) and lost when you would expect them to take all three points (Hull and Wolves). I won’t have the Wigan problem this weekend though, there are no Premier League fixtures so I’ll be focusing on the lower leagues and the World Cup qualifiers instead.

Burnley have won all three of their home games in the league this season – which is no mean feat when you consider they’ve played Man United and Everton. They welcome Birmingham City to Turf Moore on Saturday as two of the promoted teams meet.
